Cheatsheet for CX600 Lync Phone
The page number in parentheses corresponds to where you can find that in the CX600 manual in Tech Tools.
NOTE: the button names of the 3 physical buttons located immediately below the LCD screen are named in the bottom row of the LCD screen. The LCD screen is NOT touch sensitive. You must press the button immediately BELOW the screen to use that button.
To place a call on Hold:
From the In Call screen select Hold. (p.7)
To answer a second call when you are
in an active call:
From the incoming call screen select Answer. Your active call is placed on hold and your second call is answered. (p. 8)
To switch between calls:
Press the Home button on the phone and the select the Active Call. From the In Call screen use the up down arrow buttons to select the call that you want to activate and then select Resume. (p. 8)
To add others to an active call:
From the In Call screen, select Menu and then select Add others. Enter a number or select a contact then press Add. (p.9)
To transfer a call directly to
From the In Call screen select Menu, and then select Transfer Directly To. Enter a number or select a contact, and then select Call. (p. 10)
To consult with someone before transferring
From the In Call screen, select Menu, and then select Consult then Transfer To. Enter a number or select a contact. After you speak with the person your transferring the call to, select Complete Transfer. (p.10)
Cancel a consult transfer (if party
is unable or unwilling to accept the call):
Press End, then press Resume.
To activate the phone system when
calling from a non-Vanderbilt number (such as your cell or home phone) dial:
(615) 875-9100, then enter you r extension and your phone’s PIN.
